FIJI CORPORATE CHALLENGE

The Fiji Corporate Challenge “Stroke -Ride - Stride”   is organised by The Fiji Triathlon & Multi Sport Association and it is the first of four race challenges in 2009. It is scheduled for the 23rd April at the Pearl Resort at Pacific Harbour.

As you will agree this venue will win the hearts of competitors as it is one of the most beautiful locations in the Pacific.

The aim of the FIJI CHALLENGE is to:
Raise much needed funds to support the elite athletes travelling to the Pacific Mini Games in the Cook Islands in September 2009

What is the FIJI CHALLENGE?

On the 23rd of April we expect a minimum of 20 CORPORATE TEAMS to participate in a 200m swim( the water will be chest high )  in front of the Pearl,  a 5k bike ride around the beautiful Pacific Harbour golf course and a 2 Km run along the beach .
The teams will each be made up of three members; the first will compete in the swim leg, tagging the next team member and so on. The course is set to cater for the moderately fit and both males & females are eligible to enter.

Were previous FIJI CHALLENGES successful?

A very successful event was run in 2005, teams from many Suva business houses participated.
There has been a steady demand to hold this type of event again; however the committee has had difficulty locating a safe venue.
We were approached by the Pearl Resort to hold an event at Pacific Harbour. This beautiful location was assessed and approved. The event was re vamped and plans have been made to run a series of four events during 2009 commencing with the first in May.

What’s in it for Sponsors?
