Photo Competition: WTS Yokohama

By Erin Greene | 23 Dec, 2015

The race in Yokohama marked the halfway point of the 2015 season. And up until that point, the WTS action had been so fierce it was hard to imagine the excitement level getting any higher. But Yokohama proved us wrong.

USA’s Gwen Jorgensen pulled off her fourth straight win of the season after a dominating victory ahead of her competition by crossing the finish line with a commanding lead of over a minute and solidified that she now was a force to be reckoned with across all three disciplines.

During the men’s race a familiar rivalry gave a great showdown. Spain’s Javier Gomez earned his first WTS gold of the season after a thrilling blue carpet sprint finish over Great Britain’s Alistair Brownlee.

So after thinking back to all of that epic-ness, it’s time to decide which photo is the best from Yokohama.
