Enjoy the Triathlon weekend from Smidsbelt!

The Stichting Triathlon Holten is once again trying to make the triathlon more attractive to the public. For this special weekend a large 4x3 meter screen will be placed at Smidsbelt to give spectators the opportunity to view the entire competition from the stands. To insure no details are missed from any event, 4 cameras have been placed along the route. The Friday and Saturday entertainment can also be viewed from this screen. The footage on screen will also be available as a video stream on internet. The entire weekend is covered! At Smidsbelt you can enjoy the competition, the entertainment and the refreshments.

Spectacular triathlon opening!

The opening of this years triathlon on Saturday July 15th will be very special. Before the Elite begin, parachutists from the Royal Air force will land by the Schipbeek starting point, giving the triathlon a symbolic start. This will be directly followed by the starting shot for the Elite.
this, the starting shot will rang for the contestants of the Elite.
