2019 MS Amlin Мировая Серия Триатлона. Бермуды. Лучшие моменты гонки. Женщины.
Гонка у женщин началась с сильного дождя, поставив под угрозу проведение этапа, но грозовой фронт обошел трассу триатлона по касательной. Главной интригой было противостояние действующей чемпионки мира Вики Холланд и лидера сезона Кэти Зафирес. Как и год назад Холланд и Зафирес начали плавание и велоэтап вместе, но на втором этапе Зафирес вместе с Джессикой Лирмонф и Лотте Миллер взвинтили темп до максимального. Холланд опустилась в группу преследования. На беговом этапе Зафирес не было равных, а вот Лирмонф и Миллер были в зоне риска, но даже после 2,5-минутного оставания, на подиум забежала канадка Джоана Браун, опередив Миллер. Pontevedra ITU Duathlon World Championships - elite | U23 race
The ITU Duathlon World Championships was the opening event on the schedule, to crown the first set of world titles in Pontevedra, Spain.
French athletes dominated racing today, with Benjamin Choquert and Sandra Levenez presented with the World Duathlon Titles in their respective fields.

Worldclass fields of para and elite athletes are inbound to the north-west of Spain to contest across five ITU World Championships at the 2019 Pontevedra ITU Multisport World Championships. The schedule includes a duathlon, cross triathlon, aquathlon, aquabike and the showcase long distance triathlon.

2019 Daman Мировая Серия Триатлона Абу-Даби. Мужчины. Лучшие моменты гонки.
Первая гонка сезона Мировой Серии 2019 года у мужчин прошла в столице ОАЭ, Абу-Даби в 5-ый раз. Несмотря на попытки сильных пловцов уехать в отрыв на велоэтапе, во второй транзитной зоне все участники оказались одновременно и все решалось на беговом этапе. Действующий чемпион мира Марио Мола за первые 2 километра бега обгоняет больше 20 соперников, выходя вперёд, но главный соперник Молы был впереди. Это один из самых быстрых бегунов в триатлоне – Алекс Йи из Великобритании. Мола убегает от Йи за 800м до финиша, и в тот же момент Фернандо Аларза из Испании обгоняет Генри Скумана, финишируя 3-м в общем зачете. 2019 Daman Мировая Серия Триатлона Абу-Даби. Смешанная эстафета. Лучшие моменты гонки
Первая из четырех гонок Мировой Серии, где представлена смешанная эстафета, впервые прошла в Абу-Даби. 22 сборные из 2 женщин и 2 мужчин вышли на старт. В прошлом году на 3-х этапах Мировой Серии в гонках смешанной эстафеты победу одержали 3 разные команды – Австралия, США и Франция. New Plymouth welcomed a strong field onto the start line at Ngamotu Beach, stacked with Olympians, Commonwealth Games representatives, sprint specialists and triathlon royalty Javier Gomez from Spain.
Luke Willian from Australia won the battle in New Plymouth. Germany’s Nieschlag crossed the finish line to earn the silver medal and New Zealand's Sam Ward was presented with bronze.

2019 Mooloolaba ITU Triathlon World Cup - elite men’s highlights
The coastline of Queensland, set in Australia, was the stage for the 2019 elite men’s Mooloolaba ITU Triathlon World Cup.
A stacked field of 67-men lined up to take on the sprint distance race format, featuring a 750m ocean swim, 20km technical bike course and 5km hilly run.
Mislawchuk was a powerhouse across all three disciplines and his striking bike and run combination allowed him to take the tape and be awarded with the gold medal.
Australia’s young gun Brandon Copeland was thrilled as he crossed the finish line to be presented with the silver medal for Australia and Valentin Wernz rounded out the men’s podium with a bronze medal for Germany.

Queensland’s Mooloolaba Main beach set the scene for the start of the 2019 elite women’s Mooloolaba ITU Triathlon World Cup.
By the final lap of the run, it was evident that this was Gentle’s race. The Australian was able to extend her lead to cross the finish line and be awarded the gold medal. 2019 marked a maiden win in Mooloolaba for Gentle who was elated with her race performance today.
Renee Tomlin claimed the silver medal for America and Angelica Olmo, who took home a bronze medal in 2018, crossed the finish line in third place representing Italy on the podium.

On a glorious Friday afternoon in the UAE, the USA’s Katie Zaferes delivered a brilliant run to win the fifth WTS Abu Dhabi and claim a precious second World Series gold of her career as she looks to build her 2019 title challenge. efending ITU World Champion Mario Mola made the most of near-perfect conditions at Yas Marina to take the tape at WTS Abu Dhabi and begin the 2019 season with the kind of majestic display to which we have become accustomed. Great Britain’s Alex Yee impressed hugely on his WTS debut, sticking with Mola for much of the run to grab a brilliant silver, Spain’s Fernando Alarza summoning a powerful finish for the bronze.
